Studies show that watching the videos below before your skills testing can speed up and streamline your class experience. Take a few minutes to watch these videos—they’ll help make your class faster and more efficient.
Note: If you’re taking BLS or CPR & First Aid, you don’t need to watch these.
We send out access to the online courses three times daily between 8 AM and 5 PM. To take the American Heart Association course, you’ll need a computer or tablet—phones are not supported.
The course adapts to your current knowledge level, meaning its length varies based on your experience and skills. Here’s a general idea of how long it takes:
BLS: 1-2 hours
ACLS or PALS: 3-4 hours
You can start and stop the course whenever it’s convenient—you don’t have to complete it all at once.
Taking the ACLS or PALS course? Here’s what you need to know!
Our dedicated team is here to assist you and make sure your session runs smoothly. Good luck—you’ve got this!
Are you preparing for your BLS or CPR and First-Aid course? Here’s what you need to know. Head to your designated testing location on the date and time you selected during registration. Bring your phone—you’ll receive a text from the instructor or connect via the room’s cameras to begin your skills evaluation.
A virtual instructor from the American Heart Association will guide you through every step of the process. Once you successfully complete the skills test, you’ll receive your certification card that same day.
Pick up your free keychain CPR training mask on the day of your course! Available in a variety of vibrant colors, these masks make CPR practice simple and portable.
A CPR mask plays a vital role in performing CPR safely. By using one, you follow universal precautions and ensure an extra layer of protection while helping someone in need.

Performing chest compressions during CPR is physically demanding. When you register for a class, please understand that practicing compressions on a manikin can strain your hands, wrists, arms, or other parts of your body. If you have any pre-existing conditions—such as pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or an injury—we recommend waiting until you feel better before attending.
If you find yourself too tired or unable to complete your skills practice in one session, don’t worry. Call our office, and we’ll gladly reschedule your session at no extra cost. Alternatively, you’re welcome to take a break and remain in the room until you’re ready to continue. Your well-being comes first!
Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
Once you register, refunds are not available. However, you can reschedule your course anytime by paying a $30 rescheduling fee per change.
