BLS eLearning Heartcode by American Heart Association
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider CPR eLearning (online) Course (BLS/BCLS) offers a flexible training option for busy healthcare professionals. This AHA BLS CPR course covers CPR, choking, AED, 2 person CPR, and barrier devices for all age groups. This course is for BLS renewal, recertification, or first time students.
There is the less expensive option, which is taking the regular 3 hour class:

How to complete the BLS eLearning Class
1. Go to this website: www.onlineaha.org
2. Register for BLS for Healthcare Providers Part 1 (Course Code: 90-1403).
3. Pay the AHA $22 for this course. Course takes about 1.5 hours.
4. Print out your online course completion.
5. Bring to skills testing and pay us $80. Skills testing 1 hour

FAQ
Is this is a legitimate class?
Yes after attending both the online test and practice and skills testing with an American Heart Association instructor, you will receive the official BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR Card. This is the same card as if you took the full course.
I need skills testing for the Heartsaver CPR and First-aid class. What can I do?
You can call Concord or Manteca to arrange a skills testing time. The price for skills testing is $100 for the CPR and First-aid.
These dates do not work for me. Any other options?
Yes. Instead of doing the skills testing, you can just take the full 3 hours BLS course. On the day of the class, you can bring in your online certificate and pay $20 less. So you would pay $60 instead of $80 and you would finish the class earlier since you would not have to take the written test since you have already completed the online written test.

Our BLS Training Classroom
We will have coffee, tea, soda, water, and granola bars. Please remove lipstick and lip gloss before working on the CPR manikins and wear comfortable clothes. If you have back or knee problems, let the instructor know and you can practice on a table. The American Heart Association CPR instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, & supportive and I am sure you will have a nice time.
